Manager, Customer Service
The Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operational performance of the Producer Compensation and Administration Division located in the Plymouth, MN office.
The Manager will direct the activities of 90+ associates, providing both administrative and technical support. The Manager will repor to the Director and will have four Associate Managers reporting directly to him/her.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing several key functions including field compensation, commissions, licensing and field administration. The Division supports both the Agency Distribution and Brokerage Distribution channels.
The Manager will also be responsible for implementing process and quality improvements, managing risk, and ensuring a well controlled and compliant operation.
The individual will be accountable for managing to an established budget and operating the organization to improve unit cost. In addition, the incumbent will be expected to drive high levels of producer satisfaction and create a work environment that leads to high levels of associate satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Three or more years of operations management experience with staff management accountability.
Solid knowledge of operations management - - production, capacity, quality, service levels.
Solid knowledge of risk and control and compliance - - risk assessments/control assessments
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and partnering
skills.
Strong conceptual thinking skills -
ability to quickly grasp new information
Strong organization skills - ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proven decision making skills -
ability to apply sound judgement in
day to day operating decisions.
Results oriented.
4 year degree or equivalent work experience preferred
This position will be located in Plymouth, MN.
