Duties include, but are not limited to, are:

 Servicing calls and processing claims from Medical Providers and Policy Holders.Assisting Policy Holders in a timely and informatiive fashion by answering questions and responding to requests.Analysing and providing explanations to questions concerning specific processing details and policy related issues.

 

Requirements for this position:

 Minimum 1-2 years experience in the medical claims area or similar.Must be highly organized with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.Able to work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment with heavy telephone work.Must have an excellent phone manner (strong customer service skills) and the ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Strong computer skills a MUST - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, etc., with the ability to learn new programs as necessary.Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish REQUIRED. This position requires moderate use of Spanish in phone conversations; NO exceptions!Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.Candidates must have prior experience working in an office environment. Prior experience in medical billing / claims handline a HUGE plus!
