Medical Insurance Collector-PFS Rep-PART TIME

Overview : Banner Health, Arizona's largest healthcare organization, has a part time opening for Medical Insurance Biller/Collector.

Responsibilities :

The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate and facilitate all billing and collection activities by following the patient's account through the billing process to the payor, working with the payor through claims processing to accurate reimbursement for the facility.

Qualifications :

Requires previous experience in billing and account follow up experience, including electronic billing. Must have knowledge of Medicare and AHCCCS laws and regulations on billing. Requires good computer skills to include computer applications, spreadsheets and PC usage. Highly effective verbal and communication skills are essential.
