Time after time, Progressive has turned the insurance industry upside down through its innovative services, its use of technology and its continual push to be the No. 1 choice for auto insurance.The mission of the Florida Special Lines Claims Team is to provide immediate and effective claims service to all Progressive Motorcycle, Marine, RTV, Trailer, Motor Homes, Travel Trailers and Commercial Auto policy holders, while maintaining excellent file quality, accurate estimates, and optimizing expenses.

This is an independent career oriented position that requires some non-traditional hours and occasional overnight travel. Boat & motorcycle adjusters investigate, evaluate and negotiate all special lines related claims involving Watercraft, Motorcycles, Motor Homes and Travel Trailers. This includes but is not limited to estimating damages to: engines, transmissions, system diagnostics, fixed property, specialized repairs, custom paint, fires, thefts and floods. Candidates are responsible for all aspects of the claim from investigating liability as well as policy issues to the resolution of all property damage and injury claims.

For candidates external to Progressive, this role requires prior experience evaluating property damage or service writing in the Special Lines areas or equivalent education and experience that demonstrate the ability to learn to evaluate property damage and settle claims. Candidates with proven results in resolving claims will be given selection preference.

Qualifications:
*Bachelors degree required, OR post/secondary education and minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience - such as, claims adjuster, a property damage adjuster, or repair work within an automobile repair and/or body shop OR equally complex work experience that developed or required the ability to think critically, solve problems, plan and organize activities, serve customers, negotiate, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges.
*Valid drivers License and good three-year driving history required.
