Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance (CFBI), a well established insurance company located in the Denver Tech Center, has an immediate opening for an Office Claims Representative.

 

 

Office Claims Representative

General Responsibilities:

  Inspect all adjuster and vendor written estimates on property and automated claims.Investigate auto accidents, to include evaluation of police reports.Interview persons with knowledge regarding losses, to include securing statements.Negotiate loss settlements with insured?s, claimants and attorneys and secure releases.Confirm and learn to interpret policy coverage.Learn subrogation principles.Negotiate fair settlements on all claims with direct supervision.Learn the data processing system for claims on a general level.Study and prepare for testing in multi-line claims.

? Learn by on-the-job training in claims handling of multi-line claims with direct supervision.

? Develop expertise and organization skills necessary to complete assigned tasks within a normal work week.

 

Desired Education and Experience:

 Four year B.A. or B.S. degree or four years of experience in field claims handling.PIP experience/knowledge highly desired.Complete required training schools as directed.Completion of AIC program within five years.
