JOB OVERVIEW: The outbound unit manager is responsible for overall management of the outbound unit, including a team of outbound associates, as well as the outbound supervisors. He/She is responsible for assuring that the outbound unit is successful at converting leads to high quality warm transfers that will result in sales, by properly setting schedules and staffing levels to match sales opportunities, maintaining a positive team environment and creating a culture of coaching. The associates may be given leads to call from carious sources such as RFAs, RFQs, internal or external campaigns and others. The manager will be responsible for assuring that the associates on all teams in the unit are following scripts and properly documenting the customer?s accounts. He/She will also be involved in administrative tasks, coordination with reporting and development, recruiting and interviewing of potential candidates and training.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and Coach Outbound Associates. Mentor and Develop Outbound Supervisors. Development and Modification of scripts. Conversion of leads to warm transfers. Maintaining Service Level utilizing overflow. Staffing to Appropriate Levels. Liaison between Outbound Unit and other Departments. Hiring of staff and coordination with Temporary Staffing Agencies. Creation and maintenance of Training Materials.


REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required; bachelor?s degree preferred. 1 to 3 years of Management experience required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet software applications, excellent typing, proofreading and organizational skills. Good phone voice. Excellent work ethics.
