Position Overview:Strengthen and develop both new and existing relationships with independent insurance agencies. Visit insurance agencies within assigned territory on a regular basis ? minimum of 12 per week. Identifies market potential, initiates sales process effectively and persuasively, closes sales; expands sales through planning and persistence. Evaluate the performance of agencies within assigned territory. Work closely with Underwriting group to manage each agencies? book of business. Represent FirstComp Insurance at conventions and other industry related events.

Position Requirements:

 Ideal candidates will have 3 ? 4 years of successful outside sales experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills and problem solving ability. Ability to develop long lasting relationships. Travel is routine and required.
