Personal Lines Account Manager

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a temporary position of Personal Lines Account Manager located in our Loveland office.  This assignment would last a minimum of 4 to 6 months with the potential to become full time.

 

The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for overall management of assigned personal lines accounts following agency and carrier guidelines.  They work directly with the producers in the developmentof new accounts and service of existing personal lines accounts.

 

Prepares quotes, summary of insurance and applications based on feedback from producer, carrier and client information.  Submits them to insured?s and carriers, obtains clients' signatures (when needed) on all apps and other required forms, sets proper activity codes to follow up to ensure timely responses, all in conjunction with producer.  Suggests coverage and program changes or upgrades based on client exposures and carrier programs.

 

Checks all company-produced policies, endorsements and other documents for accuracy.  Updates agency system.  Communicates and processes needed changes with carriers on incorrect files.  Documents changes in Agency system and sets follow up. 

 

Assists clients in making appropriate coverage changes and processes changes following agency procedures and carrier guidelines.  Determines if immediate or delayed invoicing should be used.  Makes each contact a marketing opportunity and documents comments and sets activity codes for follow up if needed.

 

Successful candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have 3-5 years experience in managing personal lines accounts.  Knowledge of Cincinnati, Westfield and Progressive Insurance companies is strongly desired.  Must have current Ohio P&C license.  Proficiency using MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
