Personal Lines Insurance Account Service Representative

Wm Schwartz & Company is a third generation insurance agency in existence since 1897. We are family owned and operated and we like to make work as fun as work can be. We have 6 great people in the office who work well together and yet have a good time. We are seeking a person who is licensed in property casualty insurance or knows the position and what it takes to succeed. Outgoing, upbeat and well spoken are all traits needed to fill this position.

 

Job Purpose:


 

* Places insurance by directing insurance negotiations; selecting insurance brokers and carriers to fit customer needs.

 

* Spanish speaking a plus!

 

* Review coverages with clients. Offer advice if needed.

 

* Cross-Sell existing customer base and ask for referrals

 

* Follows through with customers on quotations for insurance and assists them with a claim if needed.

 

* Assists customers with Policy changes or corrections and maintain the files.


 

* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Planning, Sales Skills, A People Person (Strong Interpersonal Skills),  Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Legal Compliance, Risk Management, LICENSED--- PROPERTY/CASUALTY INSURANCE.
