Personal Lines Manager/Underwriter/CSR

Excel Insurance Services, Inc. is a Commercial and Personal Lines Property and Casualty Wholesale Insurance Broker located in Ewing, New Jersey.  We are seeking a Personal Lines Manager/Underwriter to be part of our growing, fast paced agency.  The classes of business most often placed through our Personal Lines Department are Dwelling, Homeowners, Personal Umbrella, and Personal Inland Marine business.

 

We will consider candidates at all experience levels. The ideal candidate for the Personal Lines Manager position would be someone who has personal lines experience or was previously a customer service representative and is looking to advance to the next level.  This person must have the energy and drive to immediately project themselves into a leadership role and advance the department to its full potential.  Looking for demonstrated ability to take initiative, make effective decisions, multitask and create a supportive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth.  This organization is also very open to hiring a well seasoned Personal Lines Manager with a proven success record in the areas of risk selection and agency management.  Knowledge of Imageright is a plus, however, is not required.



The responsibilities related to this position include, but are not limited to, evaluating risks for eligibility within our markets, rating, issuing quotes, issuing policies, processing inspections, and processing endorsements.
