Job Description: Acordia, A Wells Fargo insurance brokerage company, has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Manager in our Seattle, WA office responsible for the service, administration, retention and growth of an existing book of business. Candidate should be able to act independently in the evaluation of potential exposures, loss experience and current coverages. Would have strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions in order to determine a client's needs. Must be familiar with, and comfortable in both the design and presentation of complex proposals and renewal programs to high net worth clients and their advisors.

Duties include but are not limited to: Handling the marketing of client accounts to ensure appropriate placement and pricing. Check policy coverages and endorsements for accuracy and appropriateness. Maintain files, input policy detail and communicate full compensation disclosure to clients according to company policy and procedures. Resolve policy, coverage and all related areas of concern for clients and insurance carriers, monitor claim activity and assist in the reconciliation of accounts receivable as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications: Five or more years of insurance agency experience in a multi-line brokerage environment. Washington State Property and Casualty agent?s license. Advanced industry designations or college degree preferred.

Proven time management skills are necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work with a customer service focus, and respond to client requests with a sense of urgency as required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with clients, carrier representatives and coworkers.

Occasional overtime and minimal travel required.


Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Infinity/Delphi management systems a plus.
