Product Analyst, Senior

This position develops, implements and manages the product life cycle for various insurance rates, forms and rules. Key functions include preparing state filings, responding to state DOI inquiries and responding to compliance and regulatory bulletins, in addition to maintaining rules and manuals, managing the implementation of changes and participating in user acceptance testing. The chosen candidate will also be relied upon to research state requirements, notices and reporting requirements, in addition to conducting user training, maintaining documentation and performing analytical reporting. Other duties will include working closely with systems departments to implement system changes to support product changes and perform user acceptance testing.

Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Math or similar field strongly preferred.
- 5 years experience as an Analyst in finance or insurance.
- Personal lines product development experience preferred, as is experience in Filing Procedures.
- Computer skills in Windows, Word, Lotus Notes, Excel (significant skills needed) and Access.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to understand regulatory issues and recognize the product and business ramifications.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and manage complex projects.
- Detail orientation and ability to concentrate for long periods of time.


An ideal canddiate may also possess:
- A combination of insurance/business knowledge and technical/quantitative skills.
- Ability to complete rate and premium analyses, conduct user acceptance testing, develop and interpret insurance forms and assemble and manage state filings.
