Job Description:

 

This is the Product manager in charge of understanding and defining requirements for our web-based and hosted solutions for the primary underwriting market.  You will be focused on defining requirements to grow RMS business, with a particular focus on underwriting, but also covering portfolio analysis and capital planning analysis performed leveraging RMS tools.  You are the primary owner of RiskBrowser and RiskSearch strategy, including specifications development and client support.   The Product Manager will participate in strategic planning for development of future products in this space and work with core PM and technology solutions PM to develop new capabilities.

 

Job Requirements:

 We require a BA/BS or equivalent and 3+ years experience in software product management positions with relevant experience. Experience with RMS products highly desired (especially RiskBrowser and RiskTools).  Underwriting experience highly desiredInsurance industry experience highly desired.  Software strategic/business planning, including business case development, long-term release/roadmap planningSolution selling sales/sales support experienceExperience with enterprise vs. hosted applicationsImplementation or software consulting experience a plusCritical thinking skills: able to parse out the most important elements of a problem from a large amount of informationInternal Selling Skills:  appreciation of the importance of internal constituents, ability to net out in document key components of a problem and proposed solutionsGroup Facilitation:  ability to run a meeting of senior clients to gather requirements/discover requirementsSolution Selling Skills:  ability to make Strong writing skills:  1) ability to net out issues in a document, especially PowerPoint 2) ability to assemble complex ideas in a requirements document (Note: 2 writing samples will be required)BA requiredMBA or MS in Computer Sciences highly desiredPreferred:  Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU.)Preferred:  Associate of Risk Management
