Production Manager I

Production Manager I Responsibilities Monitor, review, and analyze production of commitments and policies to ensure accurate, efficient results in a time-sensitive environment

Control cost, quality, turn times, and service levels to meet documented client expectations

Participate in development of tactical business plans for production operations

Implement production initiatives

Apply company policies and practices to invoices covering complex commercial and residential transactions that involve multiple rates and principals

Track key performance indicators and implement corrective action

Hire, supervise, train, review, and develop personnel and professional staff

Mentor staff; provide feedback on performance and required improvement

Minimum Qualifications


Knowledge of title insurance or other casualty insurance operations, underwriting fundamentals, real estate transactions, and escrow processes and procedures

Knowledge of workflow processes, staffing, and operational budgeting in a production operation

Ability to analyze trends, data, and rapidly changing circumstances and make appropriate strategic and tactical decisions

Ability to operate a personal computer and use Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Ability to direct, mentor, train, develop, evaluate performance, and lead a multi-functional staff in a fast-paced environment

Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related field with five years progressive management experience in a real estate, financial services, title insurance, or casualty insurance organization to include project management in a customer service production environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
