WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

In this 12-month comprehensive and accelerated underwriting training program, you will experience a combination of self-study, classroom and on-the-job assignments. You will learn first hand how to analyze risk exposures, evaluate insurance and risk management requests, develop client proposals and interact with professionals at all levels of the organization. The technical knowledge and work relationships gained in the Professional Associate Program truly allows trainees to hit the ground running in their underwriting career. Upon entry into the program, Professional Associates will immediately be assigned to AIG Global Marine, joining a team of the organization?s finest underwriters in one of AIG?s many lines of business.
