Job Summary:

Handles professional liability and title agent claims of moderate to high value and complexity to prompt and equitable conclusions.

Under limited direction, works within broad limits and authority on highly complex assignments requiring specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth in area of expertise. Investigates and maintains professional liabilityclaims. Determines liability, secures information, reviews coverages, arranges property damage appraisals and settles claims. Manages defense counsel.



Job Qualifications:

JD required.

5 (or more) years of related experience in insurance industry required.

1. Fundamental knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and the insurance legal and regulatory environment.
2. Possesses a functional and developing knowledge of the legal statutes and procedures.
3. Displays a thorough functional knowledge and skill in handling professional liability claims.
