Job Summary:
The Project Manager I performs intermediate level project management work in the Business Implementation department. These projects cross departmental lines and have company-wide significance. Specific responsibilities include the implementation of legislative and regulatory mandates, benefit modifications, implementation of new products, enhancements to existing products and project management of rate and contract filings.

Responsibilities:
1. Establish and facilitate project teams, coordinate team activities and schedules
2. Lead, develop and maintain project plans
3. Conduct analysis and define business requirements
4. Report on project status
5. Identifies and resolves issues related to assigned projects
6. Collaborate across Premera on project activities (Contract Services, Actuarial, Product Strategy & Development, Sales, Marketing, Compliance, Configuration, Information Technology, etc).
7. Communicates results/recommendations of project team to department management and others as appropriate.
8. Plans and facilitates meetings
9. Serve as team member on larger scale projects

Minimum Qualifications:
1. BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
2. 4+ years project management experience
3. 2+ years experience working on medium to large-scale projects
4. 4+ years related business experience
5. Solid analytical skills combined with ability to think globally
6. Strong writing skills and presentation skills
7. Strong project management skills
8. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
9. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
10. Able to manage the work of multiple, concurrent projects
11. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
12. Strong negotiation and problem solving skills

Additional Qualifications Preferred:
1. Healthcare experience
