Property Claims Adjuster - Cleveland Region

 

Growing independent insurance adjusting firm is seeking a property adjuster in the greater Cleveland, OH region.


Are you a motivated individual who is able to work independently without direct supervision? Do you have strong computer skills and the capability of preparing grammatically correct and easily readable reports? If so, this position is an excellent career opportunity, due to the rapid growth we are experiencing. First year earnings of at least $45,000 - $55,000 are readily attainable.



Responsibilities Include:



Inspection and investigation of property damage losses

Preparation of an estimate and accompanying report for repair of damages found

Completion of all work in a timely fashion



Desired skills and characteristics:



Construction Repair-Replacement estimating experience is highly preferred.

Knowledge of typical property insurance policies is highly preferred.

Experience with estimating software, especially ?Integriclaim? is highly preferred.

Must have strong computer skills. Must be able to demonstrate computer skills.

Must be a self-starter, able to work independently.

Must have ablity to work on several tasks at one time.

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must have reliable transportation and an acceptable driving record.

Must pass drug screen and criminal background checks.

Must be capable of carrying and climbing a ladder.

Although experienced professionals are preferred, a highly skilled, motivated trainee may also be considered.



Territory covered varies, depending on current workload. Day travel required.
