Allied Insurance seeks a Property Claims Special Representative to work out of a home-based office in Reno, NV. Position can be filled at a higher or lower level depending on the candidate.

JOB SUMMARY: Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and brings to a final resolution personal lines property damage claims of a severe nature including complex time element and business interruption losses. Responsible for the disposition of claims in accordance within prescribed authority and adhering to best claims practices.
 
Credit Check: Due to the fiduciary accountabilities within this job, a valid credit check and/or background check will be required as part of the selection process.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Knowledge: Undergraduate degree preferred. On going job related continuing education. Professional development such as IIA or CPCU preferred. State licensing where required. Successful completion of required claims certification schools. Proven knowledge of the investigation, negotiation and settlement activities used to resolve extensive property damage claims.

Experience: Six years property claims handling experience.
