Provider Services Liaison

 DESCRIPTIONThe nation's largest provider of student health insurance is seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Provider Services Liaison. Student Insurance sells its health insurance to college and university students throughout the US. As a Provider Services Liaison, you will be responsible for working provider, vendor and member mail to correct address issues; for handling internal and external inquiries regarding miscellaneous provider related issues; for entering vendor addresses in the appropriate system; and working other provider-related problems and issues.

Two years of college or equivalent on-the-job experience is required, along with related experience in the health insurance industry. Previous claims processing or provider experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and/or experience:

*Advanced knowledge of provider/fee schedule relationships.
*Prior experience with a health insurance company
*Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly learn multiple processing systems. All applicants will be tested on math, spelling, grammar, filing, Word, and Excel.
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
*Ability to balance multiple tasks with completing priorities and meet strenuous project deadlines.
