Quality assurance Team Leader

Project Description:  Tasks:

? Test Automation Skills ? Rational ROBOT experience is required.

? Insurance industry experience is required.

? Handles day-to-day requests to schedule Quality Assurance testing submitted by Engagement Managers, Technical or Deliveries.

? Develops a schedule for the systems and Quality Assurance Specialists assigned to their testing team. Keeps the schedule up to date and publishes it to the AVP / VP Quality Assurance on a weekly basis.

? Develops project plans for the execution of test plans and keeps them updated regularly.

? Mentors the Quality Assurance Specialists in the development of test plans and test cases.

? Ensures that the Quality Assurance Specialists follow Quality Assurance Procedures.

? Participates in developing Quality Assurance procedures tailored to the needs of the specific systems for which they are responsible.

? Ensures that they understand how the Quality Assurance Specialists are to record time in the SJR system.

? Designs and develops Test Plans and Test Cases based on client approved requirements and specifications for the systems they test on their own.

? Meets or exceeds internal QA standard for testing all applications and application installation processes prior to product release.

? Creates and maintains defect logs. Provides summary reports on defects to the Engagement Manager and AVP / VP ? Quality Assurance at the completion of each project or release of software to the client.

? Maintains system knowledge.

? Maintains and improves insurance industry knowledge.

? Communicates testing errors to programming staff in accordance with established procedures for the application.

? Review, participate and document issues and defects found in walkthroughs of intermediate project deliverables (statements of work, estimates, requirements, functional designs, etc.).

? Thoroughly documents all defects found using the application?s defect-reporting template.

? Strong QA Analysis skills (familiarity and/or experience in development a plus).

? Property and Casualty Insurance a big plus.
