Licensing Support Associate
Job Description:
RegEd, the industry's leading provider of web-based solutions for financial professionals, is seeking a Licensing Services Coordinator to support the Regulatory Services department focused on providing securities and insurance licensing services. The position is responsible for helping to support client driven securities and insurance registration filings. Job related experience should include 1 to 3 years financial service, compliance or related experience. Knowledge of the state department of insurance licensing rules and general securities industry and registration rules a plus. Must be self-motivated, eager to learn, posses the ability to follow detailed guidelines to ensure accuracy for all client transactions, have good organizational and communication skills.
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Job Related Experience: 1-3 years of office support experience. Must be able to follow established guidelines to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems, referring non-routine matters to supervisor.
Functional Area Skills/Knowledge: Has an overall understanding of the work environment and process, with a working knowledge of the organization and an intermediate level of technical skills required to complete assignments. Ability to plan, organize and schedule own work. Good business or technical vocabulary. Detailed knowledge of company operations, organization, and personnel. Proficiency with computers and related office equipment
Regulatory Officer
Job Description:
The Regulatory Officer is responsible for the research and documentation of insurance rules and regulations and handling interaction with state departments of insurance and designation boards. This professional will lead and manage projects which require working directly with regulators and internal departments to meet time-sensitive deadlines. The Regulatory Officer will also need to effectively communicate findings, assist in developing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare responses to regulatory audits and inquiries. This individual will also be a primary resource for incorporating regulatory requirements into our software products and internal systems. Knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred. Legal Assistant without Insurance or Securities Industry background will be considered.
Additional requirements are Professional verbal and written communication skills, Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task, Ability to work well independently and on group projects, Ability to prioritize tasks/projects in order to meet deadlines, Experience with internet research.
Education: Bachelor's Degree
