Reinspector

Position Responsibilities

? Review and re-inspect vehicle appraisals prepared by staff and independent appraisers on an ongoing basis.
? Prepare regular reports on activities.
? Ensure that all appraisals are completed in compliance with all Chubb guidelines, statutory regulations, and all Unfair Claim Practices Acts.
? Oversee external vendors and claim programs within the territory (based in Atlanta, GA, and servicing Georgia, Florida, North & South Carolina).
? Actively address all problems and issues with appropriate parties.
? Act as the main communication channel between Chubb and independent appraisal firms.
? Provide Chubb claim offices with assistance in the resolution of appraisal issues.
? Assist in the management of salvage in the serviced territory.
? Assist in staff auto training and education initiatives.
? Identify and pro-actively address fraudulent claim activity.
? Complete emergency appraisals when required.





Knowledge, skills and abilities:
? Strong knowledge of current collision repair procedures and determining repair costs.
? Strong knowledge of vehicle damage and loss evaluation.
? Strong negotiation skills.
? Knowledge of applicable state requirements and guidelines.
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
? Knowledge of Commercial and Personal lines policy coverages.
? Strong customer service skills.
? Ability to share technical expertise and constructive feedback to peers and staff.

Education and Experience:
? High School diploma and equivalent experience required. College degree preferred.
