Return to Work Coordinator

Broadspire, a fast growing company with over 2,000 employees nationally, offers a broad array of customized casualty claims, medical management and integrated disability management services designed to increase employee productivity and contain costs. The services Broadspire offers include workers' compensation, auto and general liability claims management; medical and field care management, either integrated with casualty services or available on an unbundled basis; integrated workers' compensation and disability management programs; and risk and safety consulting.

JOB DESCRIPTIONTo review and monitor the overall account return to work program in order to ensure maximum results in return to work programs and outcomes. Assist client to reduce loss costs through claims management to achieve a reduction in lost time days. Act as a liaison between account branch offices, claim staff, managed care staff and account clients to facilitate appropriate and timely return to work. Ensure utilization of risk management programs/controls in place with account field offices and adherence to the SAC Agreement Develop and manage relationships with account branch offices, claim staff, managed care staff and account clients. Establish and maintain account Return to Work database to track return to work activities. Determine return to work rosters and monitor and coordinate efforts with claim department in order to terminate benefits based on return to work offers. Facilitate overall return to work efforts, which will include, but not be limited to, periodic follow up to ensure clients are cooperating with overall goals of RTW program Utilize and maintain client systems to obtain job descriptions and Functional Capacity Exam information as needed for injured workers. Acts as a resource for claim examiners, Telephonic/Field Case Managers, or other account representatives. Monitor and manage the Return to Work roster and oversee STEP for compliance by our branch offices with procedures and compliance information for the program. Develop plans and give instructions/recommendations on action plans as part of program. May perform other duties as assigned.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor?s degree required or educational equivalent with commensurate experience. 3-5 years experience with workers compensation programs and claims processes. Nationwide jurisdictional knowledge preferred. Experience with managed care or return to work programs required. National Account/Program management experience preferred. Well organized, with time management skills, excellent oral and written communication skills. Adjuster license preferred. Must be able to travel as required.
