We are looking for a Risk Analyst for a long-term assignment for approximately 2 days per week.  We would prefer person with at least 5 years experience working in a Risk Management capacity, claims and underwriting okay also. Also would strongly consider retired Risk Manager.

 

Job Description:
Insurance Certificates and Annual Renewal
Perform Certificate Requests and Reviews
Establish a system for tracking of Certificates required of vendors/suppliers /contractors/others
In conjunction with the Treasury staff, gather exposure data for the annual renewal
Work with the Property Management Company of the Corporate Campus, located in Mountain View, Ca. on the annual insurance renewal for the 7 leased Buildings
Invoices and Audits
Coordinate audits of insurance programs
Provide actual exposure information to insurance carriers as requested, in conjunction with the Treasury staff
Review final audits for accuracy

 

Claims Overview
Record and monitor claims
Identify additional data needed to resolve claims
Provide necessary data, if possible

 

Contract Review
Review insurance wording in customer contracts, vendor contracts, leases, loan documents, purchase orders, and other legal documents to evaluate appropriateness of wording and assure compliance with company policies
Provide expertise in insurance policy and coverage interpretation
Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of insurance and risk management issues
