Risk Insurance Manager - Great Opportunity!!

The qualified candidate will manage insurance programs for entire organization multi-state throughout the country. Manage all aspects of insurance: property, casualty, auto, general liability, E&O, D&O, Crime, EPLI and worker?s compensation.

Company offers salary $85,000 + bonus, full benefits, progressive growing national company

Degree is required, and industry designation is highly preferred.

5-10 years Risk Insurance experience in a corporate environment

Position is in Houston and relocation is not currently offered

Responsibilities include: Manage claims and evaluate risk, transfer, and finance alternatives.Direct involvement in the placement of the insurance programs Direct communication with executive team and operating center locations Manage multiple broker relationships to ensure continued productivity and effectiveness Reduce costs of insurance while maintain optimal coverage in all risk exposuresManage all workers? compensation processes and liability claims handled in-house Participate in claims management and settlementDetermine which claims are submitted to carrier based on designated criteria Participate in claims management Review all leases and construction contracts to determine compliance with insurance specifications and analyze indemnification verbage Identify analyze trends in claim activityResearches and reports on the most cost effective plans to minimize asset liabilityProvides leadership for Operations staff and management in the areas of risk, process, and controlsAbility to provide strategic and tactical guidance and direction to the organization and its leadersAbility to align efforts and practices within Operations with division and corporate risk, policy, control, and compliance activities.Responsible for leading the organization?s efforts to evolve risk management practices and strengthen controls in collaboration with the business teams and leadershipMaintain company insurance policy schedules Maintain company procedures
