Risk Mgmt Analyst

Summary of Duties:
Administration of PNA?s Property & Casualty Insurance Program; Certificates of Insurance, Surety Bonds,Coverage questions, Insurance Reporting, Contract Review, Ad hoc requests for information, In-House Customer Service, Insurance Policy Management/Filing/Follow-up for Endorsements.
Administration of Property & Casualty Insurance Claims; Claim Reporting, Claim Tracking, Requests for Additional Information, Monitor and Review Claim Reserves, Claim Settlement Approval, Claim Analysis & Management Periodic Reports, Maintain Claim Coding Accuracy, Works with third party claim administrators as needed,
Review and Process Loss Control Reports
Follow-up For Responses
Arrange for Special Loss Control Services (fire protection surveys, industrial hygiene reports)
Analyze Loss Control Results and Plans for Future Trends
Maintain Premium & Claim Payment Database
Obtain Proper Expense Approvals after Verifying Expense
Reconcile Expenses with HQ Accounting/Monthly Account Analysis
Cash Flow Planning
Management Reporting
Prepares and Distributes the Annual Renewal Questionnaires to all Company?s
Follows-up for Completion and Receipt/Obtains Additional Information
Review for Completeness/Check for Year to Year Inconsistencies
Summarize for Submission to Insurers
Annual Renewal Application Processing and Data Gathering
Supports Negotiations with Insurers
Annual Budget Preparation, Monthly Budget/Actual Review and Analysis, Management Reporting, Various Administrative Functions


Qualifications Requested:
Assists in the Administration of the $13,500,000 annual insurance expense
Insures $8,000,000,000 in sales and $2,500,000,000 in insurable property values
Works with various brokers, insurers and third party claim administrators on a daily basis
Supporting the Senior Manager, Risk Management with technical research and support skills
Must be able to identify problems, research them using various tools and resources, logically analyze them and choose from various solutions
Risk Management is a very varied discipline that requires the Analyst to think quickly and work on many different issues simultaneously
2-3 years insurance related experience helpful
Bachelor?s Degree Preferred
Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Good communications skills a must
Interfaces directly with the Director, Risk Management and the Senior Manager, Risk Management on a day-to-day basis
Works with all levels of PNA staff, management and executives
Works with all levels of non-PNA staff, lawyers, claims representatives, broker specialists, insurers and others
Ability to explain complex risk management issues and to be able to use persuasion and patience is essential when dealing with inside and outside people
