Major Duties and Functions Include:

 

MetLife Field Payroll Operations Department
Pay compensation accurately and timely for all Distribution Channels including our cross selling and multi-company partners in accordance with their contractual agreement while providing cost-effective, efficient, and value added best in class service.
Process and understand agent and general agent compensation.
Adjust and review semi-monthly commission statements and mail in accordance with the published schedule.
Provide field support on all commission related inquiries.

Sales Comp Payment Specialist - Back Office

 

Responsibilities include:
Process agent of record changes, input of compensation data, building agent/agency hierarchy and other compensation related adjustments
Ensure compensation is paid correctly
Research inquiries as necessary and follow-up in a timely manner with research results and resolution
Maintains records for all agents and general agents
Participate in special projects as needed

 What You Need to Succeed:


Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Excellent personal computer skills, demonstrated proficiency with the use of standard office programs, i.e. Excel, Microsoft word, etc.
Superior organizational skills, must have the ability to multitask and to follow-up with both internal and external customers
Ability to work well under pressure of strict guidelines and deadlines.
Preferred skills included the following:
2-4 years experience in the Life Insurance industry or related field
Undergraduate degree or equivalent workforce
Experience resolving and processing agent compensation inquiries
Ability to understand general agents sales and activities. Work shouldn?t be something you do just to make ends meet. It should provide satisfaction?and an opportunity to make a difference.
