Sales Development Consultant

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:This role is deisgned to significantly increase the effectiveness of the field sales force utilizing CSAA Sales Model methodology and industry best practices. The primary goal of this position is to maximize the success of CSAA Sales Model implementation with folow-up and hands on direction and assessment. This position works with Area Development Managers and Regional Business Directors as a team to define priorities and plans for one-on-one and/or one-to-group interactions. The Sales Coach will assist the sales staff with planning, development, and continued Sales Action Plan improvement. This role assists in implementing Sales and Service sales and marketing plans and works closely with area management team to maximize revenue potential. The Sales Coach works with field sales personnel to identify gaps in the use of effective tactics including but not limited to cross selling, prospecting and closing activities and tactics, as well as time management skills. This role acts as a resource to support sales model product training, and may offer sales and prospecitng workshops. This position is designed to support multiple locations within a given Region. Provides assistance with follow up to Sales Action Plan training and implementation. Works with ADM to assess and make adjustments to Sales Plans. Assesses skills and processes, and provides remedies for skill gaps within the context of Sales Model training and other CSAA strategies and tactics. Collaborates with ADM to coordinaate Rep plans pursuant to Area/Regional plans, objectives and goals. Works directly with sales and office staff as directed by Area Manager and / or Area Development Manager to observe and mentor skills development including, but not limited to Cross Sell up Sell skills and activities. In collaboration with ADM, AM and RBD assesses and provides workshops teaching skills necessary to execute prospecting tactics and activities. Observes real time prospecting and sales activities, including events and group venues, outbound call tactics, networking activities and provides assessment and plans to improve and measure progress, including mentoring. Provides feedback to AM, ADM and RBD. Works with ADMs and RBDs as a team to define priorities and plans for one on one and one to group interactions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a demonstrated/progressive leadership role either at CSAA or comparable outside experience in a sales or retail environment, and demonstrated sales and marketing skills pursuant to CSAA Sales Model and other lead and sales model strategies. Five to seven years experience in a customer service, sales organization required. Possesses highly developed selling, marketing and prospecting skills. Strong business acumen and leadership skills. Strong decision making, organizational, planning, problem solving, and analysis skills. Strong Computer skills. Degree in Behavioral Sciences, Marketing, Management or equivalent experience. Communicates effectively in the English language, both written and verbal. Must have a acceptable driving record, valid Drivers License and/or be able to travel frequently over far distances on short notice. Bilingual Spanish Highly Desired*
