RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provides leadership and management to Territory Sales Managers including coaching and feedback, development, training, and performance management plans; sets and communicates sales strategies for performance standards, and develops job objectives; responsible for interviewing, selection and staffing for assigned region.

* Establishes, interacts, and maintains trusting relationships with key contacts at Big I, PIA, IIAA, and other local agent associates.

* Ensures sales objectives are met within company strategies; maintains coordination with internal company functions (Claims, IT, Compliance, etc); coordinates sales, marketing, advertising and pricing strategies with PMs, DMs, and other RSMs.

* Interprets and applies company policies and programs for employees, ensuring understanding and compliance (expense guidelines, company car policy, and other common HR related topics that affect TSMs on a daily basis); monitors and ensures compliance with expenses and develops budgets.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
* Typically six or more years sales experience preferably in Insurance
* Demonstrated knowledge of Progressive's products and/or services
* Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
* Ability to coach and provide performance feedback
* Ability to present information to large groups
* Valid drivers license
