VPI is hiring a full-time Sales Supervisor for our sales call center located in Brea, CA.

Hours of operation is 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM - Monday thru Friday. 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM - Saturday.

Job Summary:

Principal duties involve daily monitoring and promoting sales production, service and policyholder communication. This supervisory position focuses on the department and staff?s role in meeting daily expectations. Supervision will include sales representative/agents and administrative support positions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assists with the development and implementation of scripts for use when handling in bound or outbound calls.
2. Works with other department supervisors improving cross-functionality.
3. Supervises staff/Sales Team, including work schedules, vacation requests, absences and workstation requests.
4. Monitors daily input and output of departmental performance matrix.
5. Provides assistance and authorization to resolve escalated caller disputes.
6. Assesses skill level of staff, implements training where deficient.
7. Monitors and trains staff for quality assurance purposes and performance improvement.
8. Provides immediate feedback to Sales Manager and/or Director of Sales for recommendations of improvement.
9. Runs reports on Sales Rep performance and activities from various company sources, then analyzes data to use for research, planning, and coaching within the department.
10. Coaches, mentors, and leads a sales team to achieve prescribed activities, quotas, and goals as a team and department.
11. Assists the department manager with periodic performance evaluations by providing feedback on staff performance to Sales Manager/Director of Sales.
