Position Description:

The Employee Benefits Group (EBG) is a business within the protection division of Genworth Financial. EBG provides small to midsize businesses with 1000 employees or less with benefit packages and financial products and services to help them retain and attract talented employees. EBG products and services are delivered through a dedicated sales force of about 100 people working with 40,000 independent producers in locations throughout North America. EBG currently services more than 2 million employees working for 50,000 companies across America.

Responsibilities:

THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WORKING 20 HOURS PER WEEK, 5 DAYS PER WEEK, 4 HOURS PER DAY WITH BENEFITS.

Working in a small satellite sales office with a high volume of sales activity, the Sales Support Coordinator reports to the Regional Sales Support Manager and is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales office (Regional Sales Leader or Regional Sales Director, Group Sales Representatives, Group Sales Associates, Sales Support Specialists). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Handling all administrative duties for the office such as typing of all office correspondence; responding to Home Office requests for information; copying; faxing; answering the telephones; receiving and sending out all office mail and keeping accurate postal records; ordering office supplies; maintaining office files and sending outdated files to offsite location; overseeing the operation and maintenance of the office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, etc, and contacting repair service as necessary; requesting new office equipment for new hires.
? Logging in requests for proposals for new business; coordinating proposal output with the Proposal Center; setting up appropriate files; and delivering finished product to the Group Sales Reps.
? Maintaining adequate inventory of all current marketing materials as directed by the Marketing Department of the Home Office and ensuring that all outdated materials are destroyed.
? Maintaining the contact list of all broker addresses for the office.
? Preparing enrollment kits for new clients as needed.
? Assisting on special projects as needed.
