Salvage Claims Assistant (Phoenix - East Valley)

Summary:   The Salvage Claims Assistant will be responsible for processing the total loss paperwork associated with auto damage claims.  They will work with customers, lien holders, and our salvage vendor to ensure that we have the appropriate paperwork to promptly process salvage.  Additionally, this position will support the Material Damage Department as needed.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:



 

?  Ensure proper paperwork is obtained from customers and lien holders

?  Timely processing of paperwork and forwarding to our salvage vendor

?  Properly document electronic file of all activities completed

?  Proactive follow-up on paperwork not received

?  Timely processing of salvage proceeds from salvage vendor

?  Assist Field Appraisers with needed information from claims system

?  Receive and issue vendor payments

?  Offer administrative support of management functions

 

 

Qualifications:



 

?  High School diploma is required, some college preferred

?  Prior auto claims experience preferred

?  Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills

?  Strong analytical skills

?  Organizational and multi-tasking abilities

?  Solid negotiation skills

?  Exceptional customer service skills

?  Team Player who can assist others as needed

?  Solid computer skills and use with MS Office Products
