Job Summary:

This position is within Commercial Markets Actuarial and will be responsible for the profitability, reserving, planning, and pricing for the commercial package (and other related) lines of business for the Middle Markets business unit. Coordinates, prepares and performs actuarial analyses. Works with minimal supervision and may oversee the work of actuarial trainees.



Job Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or equivalent

5 or more years of related experience.

1. Has thorough knowledge of actuarial statistics and assumptions usedfor modeling cost, risk and revenue trends.
2. Very skilled in the use of PC spreadsheet applications.
3. Thoroughly familiar with the development of rates, rating plans, pricing strategies, reserve programs, and financial forecasts.
4. Six to eight exams.
