To perform mathematical and statistical analyses and actuarial modeling in support of our clients' needs. Experience gained through data analysis, modeling, and communication with clients will help develop problem-solving skills. Development of related software, tools, data analyses, communication skills, and an understanding of the big picture on projects.


Ability to manage projects.
Routinely asks about budget if not provided.
Completes projects within budget.
Hours written off, as a percent of gross hours (billable hours before write-off), of 6% or less (unusually large write-offs beyond individual?s control will be given appropriate consideration).
Complete projects by deadline.
Ability to identify tasks within projects which can be delegatedUnderstand big picture.

Address clients business needs rather than provide solely calculations.
Ability to communicate via phone with clients.
Attend and give Reden & Anders NSQ presentations.
Attend other Reden & Anders sponsored training (e.g., writing classes, computer classes).
In compliance with continuing education criteria (e.g., SOA criteria if an A.S.A. or F.S.A.)
Working knowledge of Reden & Anders tools, databases, and reference libraryTool examples: fee analyzer, commercial cap model, etc.
Database examples: state discharge datasets, Medicare 5% sample

Working knowledge of computer software including Lotus, Excel, Access, Microsoft Word.
Current ability (or projected to develop within six months) to function in a client manager role.
Manage the day-to-day services we provide clients.
Manage various projects for clients, from data request through report.
Know when to ask questions and get help.
Ability to discuss with clients their needs and take an active role in the formation of projects.
Handle billing.
Obtain adequate peer review of project work.
Clients continue to generate same fees over time (or more fees).
Ability to effectively manage client projects and client expectation to avoid swamping of staff.
