Transamerica Reinsurance, a leading life and annuity reinsurer is looking for a Senior Actuary Annuity Modeling (Ref# JPI ? 118) to join our office in Charlotte, NC. Transamerica Reinsurance is a leading provider of reinsurance and consulting services for companies which underwrite life, annuity and accident & health business. It maintains reinsurance treaties in the United States, Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Job Description:
? Lead development of actuarial models, assist with the processes of calculating, documenting financial results for cash flow testing, embedded value analysis, business planning.
? Support Annuity product line quarterly close process
? Assist with analysis of quarterly earnings.
? Consult with Annuity product line leaders to improve understanding of account and product line experience and trends. utilize this information in account management and pricing decision-making.
? Assist with asset/liability management strategies and tactics.
? Assist with analysis, development and implementation of new actuarial initiatives, guideline interpretations and relevant actuarial processes for the Annuity product line
Job Requirements:
? Associate of the Society of Actuaries
? 2+ years of experience with actuarial modeling
? 2+ years of experience with US statutory and US GAAP reporting for Life or Annuity products
? 4 year degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science or related field
? Familiarity with Tillinghast Actuarial Software (TAS) or similar packages
