Senior Broker Assistant

Description: Facilitates the flow of information from sales and underwriting to wholesale broker or other markets on all renewals and at the request of the broker, new business. Obtains terms and pricing for difficult or specialized coverage. Confirms binding pricing, terms and conditions and tax computations. Inputs premium, commission and coverage information into agency management systems. At the direction of Broker, counsels and trains other Broker Assistants - may be called upon to travel in training mode.

Qualifications:
Minimum 4 -5 years Broker Assistant or equivalent experience. Good working knowledge of Liberty Mutual and HIA procedures. Must have brokers license in home states. Good understanding of insurance policies/coverages, finance agreements, procedures, and ability to explain them to others. Must have excellent communication skills. May be required to train others. Some supervision of other employees. Knowledge of Excel and Word necessary.
