Senior Claims Representative – Property

USAA is currently seeking a talented Senior Claims Representative - Property for our Colorado Springs, CO location.

As a Senior Claims Representative - Property for USAA, you will provide claims service to members regarding moderately complex property claims. You will investigate, evaluate and equitably settle claims in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy contract applicable to the liability facts and damages. You will also coach less experienced claims staff.

Qualified candidates will possess:

High school diploma or equivalent.

1 year of recent Property and Casualty claims adjusting experience with working knowledge of homeowners, fire and renters insurance contracts.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Computer literacy in a Windows operating environment.

Ability to analyze coverage questions.

Demonstrated ability for detail-oriented work while using sound critical thinking skills.

Ability to obtain required licenses where applicable.

Preferred experience includes:
Property claims adjusting experience in an inbound phone-intensive/call center environment.
Ability to recognize liability exposures.
College education and/or job related course work.
Strong negotiation and investigation skills.
