Senior Client Manager - Construction

 

Primary duties:

? Provide day-to-day client service and higher level risk management advice
? Regularly have face-to-face contact with client decision makers regarding risk management issues;
? Answer client policy and coverage questions;
? Consult with clients on mid-term policy changes;
? Review ?non-standard? cert requests from the certs center;
? Coordinate/conduct regular claims review meetings for selected accounts;
? Review contracts of client for pertinent risk management issues and concerns
? Visit the client site to identify potential exposures and needs;
? Review loss analysis;
? Gather and update exposure basis;
? Lead the pre renewal meeting to finalize strategy and assign action steps;
? Work with the producer to complete the action steps necessary to close renewal and win the potential rounding opportunities;
? Provide necessary information to marketing;
? Work with marketing team to develop program design and final proposal
? Review proposed renewal with client
? Complete necessary fee agreements;
? Complete high level policy checking for accuracy;
? Deliver policies and review with clients as necessary.
? Market and place one off coverages on a project specific basis
? Support producers and marketing department on prospecting opportunities
? Helps coordinate delivery of ?other? brokerage services to clients, e.g. claims, loss control, etc.
? Assist in resolving client/carrier ?accounting? issues

Size and Complexity of Accounts:
? Complex and diversified book ? large deductible, alternative risk financing programs and international exposures
? Book of Business 1.2M (Income)

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Education/Licenses/ Professional Designations/ Years of Experience:
? Minimum of College Bachelor's Degree - Insurance degree a plus
? Property and Casualty License ? State of Georgia

? Insurance designations preferred ? (e.g. CIC, CPCU, ARM)
? Minimum of 7 years Commercial P&C Client Manager experience on large sized accounts, preferred

Technical Competencies:
? Ability to communicate information orally and in writing in a clear and professional manner
? Ability to work under stress, and to multi-task
? Strong organization and time management skills
? In depth knowledge of P&C insurance coverages and general brokerage business; special technical knowledge of specific product for construction
? Ability to maintain confidentiality
? Good working knowledge of computer software packages Word, Excel,
