Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager
An expanding group benefits brokerage headquartered in Atlanta, GA seeks a responsive, high level, detail oriented benefits customer service professional who thrives on consulting with and servicing clients in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
This outgoing self starter will provide consultative support to develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients ranging in size from 50 to 1,000 lives by providing them with accurate and professional customer service, educating them and consulting with them in the areas of employee benefits strategy, renewal analysis (marketing, carrier negotiations and presentation), employee communications and compliance. At times this person will lead the team and at times this person will partner with the sales team or the department manager. Excellent planning skills, ability to prioritize, organize and multitask are key requirements for this position.
Additional responsibilities will involve assisting the department manager with various projects designed to strengthen the service provided to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to have an impact in the development and improvement of offerings in a growing organization.
This resourceful person will have 5+ years of group benefits brokerage experience in medical, dental, life, disability and vision. It is also necessary to have knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA and other employee benefits legislation as well as holding a life, accident and sickness insurance license in the State of Georgia. Experience working with groups of 50+ employees is required. Reliance transportation and some travel will be necessary.
