Senior Loss Control Representative

Job Description:

Evaluates loss potential exposures of existing and prospective clients and communicates conclusions to underwriting and clients. Provide Loss Control services and safety consultation to clients.

Competencies/Technical Skills:

- Demonstrated high level of competency in risk evaluation for all insurance
coverages.
This includes Property, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, Product Liability,
General Liability and Umbrella.
- Excellent collaborative skills
- In-depth understanding of codes and standards related to all above coverages.
- Ability to manage own workload in an efficient and productive manner to meet
productivity and quality goals.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
- Valid drivers license
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Travel:

The territory includes all of NYS north of the Bronx and the State of Vermont. The position does require over-night travel. There are other offices in Albany and Rochester that handle those areas; however the workload demand determines frequency of travel. One could expect to travel northwest to the Syracuse area, Syracuse East to Albany and north to Plattsburgh in New York State. Some travel to Vermont.

Experience:

3-5 years experience in the field.
