Description:
Basic Function: 20% of time out of office. Responsible for: account underwriting, presentation, sales and revenue growth for assigned clients. Authority to: evaluate, quote, accept or decline risk within established binding authority. Duties include preparing quotations/proposals on new business; reviewing, analyzing and quoting exception renewals on a monthly basis to ensure proper pricing, coverage and compliance with HSB Underwriting policy and standards (includes in term changes); adhering to strict follow up procedures on quoted business. The qualified applicant for this position will act as a training mentor for team members and will work to resolve communication issues between team mates, UC/BDC, UC/NSC, and UC/Engineering. Handles customers with most complex risks; requires client and customer visits with Client Manager.


REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications - Education:

Required: -BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

Qualifications - Work Experience:

Required: -3-4+ years of experience preferably in Operations side of Insurance
Desired: -3-4+ years of experience preferably on an Underwriting Team
