Senior Property Underwriter

Position Summary:

 

Complete accountability for achieving planned results for a specific geographic territory and successful management of a team to attain business objectives and goals.  This would include:

?  Achieve all assigned goals including profitability, production levels and service standards

?  Manage all aspects of existing broker relationships including visitation to present our products and underwriting appetite, develop relationships, production and profitability

?  Hire, train and manage your own team, including performance management

?  Monitoring of renewal accounts

?  Managing daily workflow including endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements

?  Develop new products and production sources

 

Requirements:

 

The successful candidate must have between 7 to 10 years experience in property insurance either as mono-line or package professional, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to promote a customer-service oriented approach to producers, and the ability and willingness to work in a team concept.  A bachelor?s degree with some emphasis in business or risk management is preferred.
