Senior Underwriter / Marketing Specialist / Property & Casualty Insurance
Brokerage Professionals (bpi), a division of Arthur J. Gallagher Risk Management Services, Inc. (AJG) located in Media (Courthouse area) is a 24-year-old Property Casualty insurance brokerage and consulting firm. We operate in a sophisticated office environment utilizing state-of -the-art computer equipment. Our firm provides risk management services and property casualty / employee benefits insurance products through an organization of uniquely qualified professionals. We service and maintain a prestigious client base of mid to large accounts and are experiencing rapid growth.
bpi has an immediate opening for a mid to large size Senior Underwriter / Marketing Specialist. Duties will include:
- Identification and analysis of client exposures.
- Analysis of existing program with respect to limits, sufficiency of coverages, and identification of potential markets.
- Extensive contact with clients and underwriters to engage in marketing process on a variety of Commercial accounts.
- Involvement with renewal marketing process, including ordering and analyzing loss runs, updating applications, sending submissions, reviewing policies for accuracy and billing.
- Daily functions also include maintaining client detail on a web-based insurance program, review and issuance of insurance certificates, automobile ID cards, binders, analysis of endorsements and audits.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of coverages, markets, products, and services.
- Ability to work within a team structure to guarantee strong service, product and market considerations.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
-Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, exceptional communication skills and a positive work ethic.
-Proficient in Windows environment including Word products and programs.
-Strong multi-tasking abilities.
-Attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
-Current Pennsylvania property-casualty license required.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience within a property casualty environment.
