Senior Workers? Compensation Claim Adjuster

 

Excellent opportunity for Senior Workers? Compensation Claim Adjuster to handle Texas workers? compensation claims to prompt and equitable conclusion. Must have strong ethics. Advance claim investigation experience is necessary.

 

Under technical direction, should work within limits and authority on assignments of moderate to advanced technical complexity. Must possess demonstrated technical knowledge and skills reflective of fully competent practitioner including knowledge of product and industry.  Investigate and maintain workers? compensation claims. Will secure necessary information; determine compensability, liability, accrual of benefits; request RME?s, peer reviews, and designated doctor appointments as necessary.

 

Must have current (03) Workers' Compensation license. Five or more years of related experience.  Must be a team player who can also work independently.

 

Job Requirements:

 

1. Five (5) or more years of related experience

 

2. Fundamental knowledge of insurance industry, claims, the insurance legal and regulatory environment in the area of Texas Workers? Compensation

 

3. Possesses a functional and developing knowledge of legal statues and procedures.

 

4. Display functional knowledge and skills of claims handling specific to Texas Workers' Compensation.
