My client is a top TPA in California has an IMMEDIATE need for a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner with at least 4 years experience to join their dynamic team in their beautiful Long Beach offices.

Working with well-established clients, your caseloads are capped (120-140) and you'll have Claims Assistants to help you.

As a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner job you will have the following responsibilities:

Using best claim practices, investigating, evaluating, reserving, processing, and settles claims of a complex nature assigned within scope of authority, workload guidelines, time, and service standards.

Identifying and investigating possible fraud and subrogation opportunities to reduce total claim cost

Responsible for individual goals and unit goals that require sharing of tasks to reduce total claim costs and retain high levels of customer service

Providing account servicing and market presentations to prospective accounts and assureds

* College graduate or equivalent work experience preferred

* Minimum 4 years claim handling experience preferred

* Strong demonstrated working knowledge of medical terminology

* Insurance certification highly desired (e.g. IEA, SIP, WCCA, WCCP)

* High level of workers? compensation claim handling skills to resolve complex claims
