Service Specialist - Insurance Services

Do you enjoy working with people? Are you comfortable handling 60 to 70 phone calls per day? If so, Edward Jones' current opening for a Service Specialist in Operations may interest you. Duties include answering calls and emails from branch offices regarding annuity operational and servicing information and assisting branch offices with research, processing and corrections (financial and non-financial) needed for operational annuity problems. If you have strong customer service skills, you may be suited for this position. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial. Series 7 and 63 licenses required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities:
-Answer calls and emails from branch offices to provide accurate and timely annuity operational and servicing information.
-Assist branch offices with research, processing and corrections (financial and non-financial) needed for any operational annuity problems.
-Effectively communicate with other departments to ensure appropriate supervision of annuities within the established firm guidelines.
-Serve as a liaison between branch offices and our preferred annuity vendors.
-Create and maintain updated forms for branch use on the Edward Jones Communication System.

Requirements:
-Series 7 and 63, and insurance licenses required within 12 months of hire.
-Customer service experience
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Effective communication skills via phone
-Multitasking and strong organizational skills
-Ability to work unsupervised within a teamwork environment
-The Arizona Insurance examination is required within 120 days from date of hire, in addition to obtaining a Series 7 and Series 63 licenses within the first 18 months of hire. Edward Jones will sponsor the fees for all examinations and resources used to prepare for exams.
