Service Underwriter / Underwriting Assistant

Individuals will review and process policy applications, endorsements, inspection reports and policy renewals for commercial and personal lines, including private passenger autos, trucks, tractors, trailers and miscellaneous vehicles. Must have the ability to perform classification, rating, and data entry using the CGI policy management system and processing manual and computer rating of private passenger vehicles.



Candidates will have 2+ years relevant work experience with proven analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and keyboard skills necessary. College degree preferred.



Previous underwriting experience for Commercial (CLAD) and AIP (LAD) auto insurance in multiple states, with knowledge of Assigned Risk (AIP) rules and regulations and underwriting fraud detection procedures is highly desirable, but not required.
