Sr Account Specialist

Prudentials Life Agency and Brokerage Distribution is experiencing continued growth.
The environment is dynamic and fast paced. The Post Issue Case Manager teams provide service support to top producing agents in the Agency Distribution channel and to Brokerage Distribution including the Regional Brokerage Directors, direct brokers, Regional and National Accounts. The Sr. Account Rep will play a key oversight role of two teams in ensuring that the highest level of service is provided.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Special Service Unit and the Brokerage Post Issue Case Manager teams. The primary responsibilities include handling calls, responding to e-mail inquiries, managing post issue casework including partnering with internal processing groups when needed. This position is responsible for oversight of all case related activity with emphasis on maintaining effective internal and external relationships. The Sr. Account Rep monitors, directs and coordinates activities to meet service standards. Provides escalation support. Have administrative leadership and performance management responsibilities for the case managers. Promotes a positive work environment. Contributes to general agency and producer satisfaction.

The Sr Account Rep also plays an important role in driving process improvement and serves as the subject matter expert.


Three years of supervisory type / leadership experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of life insurance/customer service operations (processes, systems and policies) required.
Excellent relationship skills, including ability to partner both internally and externally, provide exceptional customer service and build professional relationships.
Knowledgeable of managing an operation, including ability to handle a work environment with high and complex levels of activity and to establish and monitor controls to manage risk.
Solid organizational skills ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal / communication skills
Demonstrated analytical and decision making skills.
Serve as a change agent.
