We are in search of an organized, detail-oriented research specialist to examine appeals and make determinations to uphold or overturn the current case status. Primary responsibilities include:



Researching appeals


Upholding or overturn current determinations


Writing letters to inform parties involved of the decision


Sending appeals corrections to claims adjusters



Experience working with insurance (preferably in healthcare) in essential to this role. Proven research and problem-solving skills are a must. A background in managed behavioral health is a big plus, and customer service experience will be helpful. Computer proficiency is key.
